HUSH response to the FSA's Guidance on how food law applies to food provision village halls and to other community activities in England consultation 21-05-2013

16th June 2013

HUSH responded to the above consultation on 21/05/13. Although it is a short consultation response from ourselves, it embodies our core principle of putting the safety of the public first. The charity only wish to see village halls and other community centers being subject to licensing, if these are used as a business premises, whilst those who use these on a less frequent basis and not as a business, are not subject to such licensing as required by law. However, the charity does wish to see information given on the best hygiene practices to all who use such practices for the preparation of food.
